That was my plan on my 2013 Road King CVO. I had purchased the Fulsac 2.25 baffles. I took off my existing slip on's and after about 8 hours of searching all the major hardware stores to find a bit to use or find someone to cut the existing weld I gave up until the next day. Couldn't find the bit that was heavy duty enough to cut the weld. Finally after being turned down by 3 muffler shops and 3 body shops finally found a muffler shop that was willing to help me. They ground away at the welds and even cutting them away the stock baffle was not moving. That was it. I had put in about 12 hours just trying to get the baffle out of just one of the slip on's. I was leaving the following day for a ride from Nashville to Gatlinburg to go for a 1st time ride with my oldest son for the weekend. I really wanted to have my new exhaust sounding good. I friggin gave up and just went to the local Stealership and paid $200 more than I would have paid on Amazon for some Cobra 4 1/2 Powerflo's with 3" baffles. (Totally my fault for over paying, just sayin). However, I loved the sound, not real loud but deep. A"nd when you roll on the throttle they definitely get loud enough for you to enjoy.. :-) Moral of the story. Those friggin stock baffles don't come out nearly as easy as all those video's show.. Best of luck.
