I've had Fullsac DX headers on my 2015 CVO Street Glide almost since day 1, but I've tried a variety of mufflers: I started off with Supertrapp Fatshots then tried the stock CVO Mufflers then the CVO mufflers with Fullsac 2.0" cores and after that Crusher Mellows.
I've now gone back to the CVO mufflers with Fullsac cores.
In my opinion, for cruising at 70-90mph both the Crushers and the Full sac cores are a tad loud. You do have a solid wall of noise behind you. But the Crushers just sound too "blatty" for me and I prefer the note (on & off the throttle) of the Fullsac cores. Plus they seem to gel better with my brain in terms of the correlation between what your throttle hand is doing, the noise from the exhaust and what the motor is doing - just feels more "natural" somehow. Yeah I know - not very scientific is it?
At no point has my bike been on a dyno - it's just been canned Stage 1 map plus autotune runs with the SEPST - and there's little difference in outright performance according to "seat of the pants".
What I may try next is to repair and modify the stock baffles so I can swap between them and the Fullsac ones if I need to quieten down the bike (for the MOT test or some continental touring).
All things considered though, I've been very happy with the Fullsac cores and the DX headers.
Cheers
Andy
