Has anyone tried to remove the fork reflectors off of black forks. If so did it remove are hurt the finish? What did you use to get the glue off?

Same process as the chrome or polished aluminum. Pull fishing line between the reflector and fork without sawing motion. Then goo gone or other similar product.

thanks that was what I was thinking but unsure how good the coating on the forks are

Yep, what he said although I use upholstery thread, it is course and saws better and closer.

Most reflectors can be popped off with a set of channel locks. No need for thread or fishing line to worry about with the finish.

Id be afraid to pull them off with pliers! Paint might come with it. I use my little heat gun and get them good and warm then they come right off.

Heat gun/ hair dryer is a good way to soften the stick on tape holding the reflectors on.

Same here.  I had issues with the ones on my 2009 SG as they were stuck a bit better but all the others I've removed I pulled off....no pliers, screwdrivers, fishing line or anything else.  It just takes some effort and patience.  You will have some glue guts remaining but mineral spirits or WD40 can help you remove the last of that residue.

There is no need to "go nuclear" and risk damage to the finish.  If they won't pop off easily by hand (use a soft plastic spudger tool to lift a corner), try warming them with a hair dryer or heat gun which will loosen the grip of the adhesive, get one end started and then pull them off.  If there is some adhesive left on the fork leg, try rolling it off with a thumb or finger, or if you need chemical assistance stick to milder products that won't damage painted surfaces.  WD-40 is a good choice.  If you just start out rubbing with Goof-Off or similar products, you will just spread the adhesive around and make a small area into a larger one, and if you rub too much that stuff will damage many surfaces.  Read the fine print.

I have such a hard time understanding why someone would sacrifice safety and visibility for aesthetics?  I ADD light and wear reflective clothing at night to be SEEN.  I don't understand switching turn signals, etc. to small ass things so other drivers cant even see them.

I guess to each their own, right?

I add lights to increase visibility but the reflectors must go. And when working in b/s we removed thousands of stick on stuff, just pulled them off. Cleaned residue with your finger. NEVER pulled paint, NEVER use a screwdriver! Glue gone works, just buy the correct grade of glue gone for your application.

So maybe a cage won't see that big chrome & paint bling that you are riding (day or night) but they will yield to the little reflector? Yep, to each his own

Chrome or black forks, this method works ok.  I used a heat gun.

I have a 2018 cvo anniversary limited on order with a dealer in Texas but cannot get a target delivery date. Does anyone know Hd production schedule on these bikes any any idea when I  can expect a  dealer shipment?
Any info would be appreciated

Each dealer will only get one of the 2018 CVO Anniversary limited bikes.  Dealers only know bikes coming in for about a 3 month window.

You have a bike on order with the dealer, not with the Motor Company.  Not like a special order car or truck.  Your dealers allocation for his one bike could be in the first quarter, 2nd, 3rd or even 4th
