fast and chrome
« on: April 03, 2007, 07:21:34 PM »

A French train with a 25,000-horsepower engine and special wheels broke the world speed record for conventional rail trains today.

At left, the black-and-chrome V150 in Jaulny, eastern France, as it reached 357.2 mph.

357.2 mph....holy chit ! :vrolijk27:

I've ridden the "Bullet Train" in Japan quite a few times and I think it hit like 175 MPH on some stretches, great suspension and excellent service. Not much chrome though :(  Let's see the dyno!  :2vrolijk_21:

Actually in France we have another joke concerning this world speed record :

The next month we have the presidential elections.
Some people say that it'll be more quick to take back the foreigners in illegal situation to the border.

If our Economy was in the center of the debat for run so speed ..... IMHO
But it's another story; too serious.

I think that we are the better for the useless with this record or the Viaduc of Millau.
Another way, it's for the technologies ...
