Anyone know beans about this accelerator pump option in the Power Commander?  If so what settings did you use?

my tuner did a great job on my fuel curve.  He recommended not messing with it.  I took his word on it  [smiley=nixweiss.gif] for what its worth.

I am a firm believer in the "if it ain't broke don't fix it" school and art of maintenance.  But this looks so darned simple to try and then turn back off if you don't care for it it's just begging to be tried.

I'm afraid I don't know beans about the accelerator pump option or the power commander. I recently put Rineharts on my '04 SEEG and like to think I can notice some better performance. Does a power commander really make a difference? Is it easily installed? Can any dealer do it, or should it be left to an experienced dealer? I like the looks and sound of the Rineharts enough to warrant their addition.  What's your opinion? Thanks

Did you just change pipes or did you do a stage 1 or 2 down load?  You would benefit by using a power commander or a race tuner to fine tune the bike on a dyno (with a good operator) to get the most out of the bike.

IVE JUST READ THE INFO RE THIS AND I DONT SEE A PROBLEM INSTALLING IT. I WILL TRY IT ON MY BIKE AND KEEP YOU ALL POSTED. YOU CAN ONLY DO IT ON THE P/COM 111 USB UNITS.

I put the PC III USB on my '03 Ultra.  I'm set up with Vance & Hines, Big Bore Stage II w/SE 203 Cams & SE Air filter.  I had a lot of popping and backfiring almost anytime I let off the throttle, like coming off a highway onto an exit ramp, etc.  Love the V & H pipes, and tons of pull, but the bike was definitely running too lean.

After putting the PC on the bike and downloading map M807-096.djm, I also turned on the accelerator pump feature with 90% sensitivity and a 15% fuel increase for 20 RPMs, which seems to be suggested for street riding.

I went out for a 50 mile ride (in 40 degree weather - that's desperate!).

Bike runs great.  I still get the occasional carb fart, but the bike runs great, no hesitation or issue at all.  Now I only went 50 miles and since then it's been crap weather here in New England, but I was happy with it.  I jumped on it and went to 110 for about 20 seconds and was very happy with how fast It got there.  Can't find a downside.  I researched the PC for a while, mainly through sites like this.  I'm sold on it.  I plan on putting it on my '05 SEEG this winter.
