I never got his address. I only have the cell no. I've been calling repeatedly, but it always goes straight to voice mail. The scary thing is I never heard from him again after he broke down transporting a boat (in the ocean) up the Atlantic Coast. I hate to think like this, but has anyone heard of some freaky boat accident or disappearance off the coast? He was extremely active here. I didn't know him that well, but he didn't seem like the type to drop off the face of the earth. When I spoke to him while he was broken down, he seemed OK and was waiting for help. He felt bad about missing the York Trip. This is really weird!

His profile shows his location as Pocono Mountains-Newfoundland. His map locates him S of I-84 and E of I-380. His site handle is ESJ Jester. Anyone??? Hoist!

The location is my back yard. Newfoundland borders the lake and is a decent size area so that rules out door to door.

Very true Wayne. But I think he would have told me that the last time we spoke. Nothing wrong with making sure someone's OK. If he just didn't want to be found, you can't get upset that someone wants to know your OK. There's an easy way for others to know that, respond and say so. Or maybe I just couldn't take a hint!

We lost a member here awhile back, TC (Terry) did contact him, he had absolutely no interest in passing along his concern to the group, evidently really pizzed off.

Dropped his name and dropped off the Yahoo Fantasy Team, too bad too as he was a long time member and had become very active on posts. I missed him and encouraged TC to reach him as he had sold him something like WFP did with ESJ.

He did repond to TC and was cordial, but just said to let sleeping dogs lie.

Yes Rog, I spoke with him as well. He was very nice about the whole thing, but had no problem letting us know his deal. And we wished him well. With Gene, I'd just like to know if he's OK. He was stranded at sea the last time I spoke with him. And that was the very last time anyone's heard from him. That's enough cause for concern. Hoist!

I don't disagree, I hate to think of anyone being in some kind of trouble or worse, and I also hate to see anyone pull up stakes and leave. Just like the mystery with grc

OK, I went and looked. I found the residence with no problems, very well marked. No signs of anyone anywhere. I knocked on the door a few times and nada. There weren't any nosy neighbors around either to ask. His van is in the parking lot and I know it is his based on his name on it!

However it has not been on the road in some time based on no plate and the way the tires looked. So the mystery continues. The next time I venture through that area I'll swing by again as it is not that far off of the beaten path.

Thanks Mike for checking. This only makes it more mysterious. His father's in Brooklyn, but I wouldn't know how to reah him. Bill can you PM me a last name if you have it and I'll try to track his father down. I wonder what was in that boat!

Very strange. Some Italian lady with a heavy accent answered, and said he hadn't worked there for about a year. She wouldn't give me his father's phone number. She didn't seem to care that someone was concerned about him. So, the mystery continues. Not much more we can do, but wait on him. If he doesn't want to be found, I guess he won't be! Hoist!

It was just before York. That's why he called me, to tell me he was broken down at sea and wasn't going to make York. He was disappointed about not making York, but didn't express any concern about the boat. He was just waiting for assistance. I hope we're just making more of this than there is to this story. Ok fellow worried members. I just got off the phone with Gene. He's on I95N south of Jax, FL.

He said that they ran into boat trouble. Said he lost his cell phone, etc. All is well now and he and the Mrs. are heading home. I just invited them to spend the night here at 'Hotel AJ', just waiting for a call back.

Sometimes it takes a little time to get back in the groove of the site. Chit, if he only took the time to catch up on your posts alone he'd be reading around the clock for weeks.

He'll be in touch, unless....he saw you wearing that "Sox" hat...
