1) It takes between 3-4 cranks before the bike starts (stock - 2 cranks to start)

It has to do with the boot up sequence of the power commander when connected to a newer machine. The bike will start faster in boot mode on the 06 and newer models. If you have more questions, let me know.

A slightly longer start is expected with an 06 or newer model. It is not any indication of problems though. You can start the bike while the fuel pump is priming and it will help the machine fire up faster. Let me know if you have further questions.
