Experience with non Dunlop tyres
« on: October 17, 2008, 03:51:45 PM »

Folks - I'm possibly to flame here as this question must have been asked many times but I couldn't find a keyword for the FXSTSSE specificically.
That out of the way - I was considering Metzelers instead of Dunlops as I seem to think (maybe incorrectly as it's inspired by hearsay and not experience). The on-line catalogue however doesn't give the exact size I need for the current rear-tyre. Height 50 versus 55 - which I'm not sure this will eventually result to. I cannot have the bike being lower than it currently is but unsure if this really matters that much. Any advice other than stick to the recommended Dunlops ?

TIA
