Hey I was at the rumble thru the tunnels and yes the traffic was well... "typical". It sucks everyday.  Living here and driving a service truck I deal with it everyday. The lack of police escorts really made it a dangerous endeavor. I was in the last goup. I saw some SERK's, SERG's, and SEEG's. I also was in the mountains Sunday and thought I saw you on 522 going south bound. I was heading north.  I saw a SEEG anyway! LOL!!! It was a  beautiful day for riding, I rode up to warrenton and then out 522 to 231 to 29 then back to Charlettoville for the cold ride home!!!!   Where do you live anyway?

You were definately on the same roads we were on. We were at a chapter breakfast in Mechanicsville (where all rides originate from, the mechanics - ville) and then hit 64 west to 15 to 231 North. We skipped the Graves Mountian Apple Fest, if you are on a SEEG in heavy traffic you need a few 10 to 100 mph blasts and there weren't none on that tiny road. So we continued on up to Sperryville, Cooters old home and stopped at Sunnyside Farms. Continued up 522 to the Old Richmond Highway, that takes you back to Culpepper where we had a bite at Ruby Tuesdays, must have been 30 other two wheel friends thought it was a good idea - mostly Blue Knights. From there it was 522 to Powhattan and back roads from there to Colonial Heights! B-U-T-ful day for riding! Mid October and where is the color?  [smiley=pumpkin.gif]

Yeah hey it was a greaaaaaaatttttt day!!!!!!!!!!   I superslabbed out of the beach to 522 N then rode around. I saw the sign for the apple fest but passed. That 231 is a really great ride. I took 29 out of culpepper back to Charlottesville so I wouldnt have to ride on the same rode twice. It ended being a cool ride home. We must drove past each other for sure! I stopped at the ice cream shop at the corner of 211 and 17 in Warrenton. Grumpys in Warrenton is a good place for beer and chow...   My whole family lives up there in New Kent County...  Where do you meet in Mechanicsville?
