Took the K1200r out today

Most of these tombs are from 2000-3000 BC
Arderawinny Portal tomb west of Schull Co Cork

Altar Wedge Tomb west of Schull on the R592

Toormore Wedge Tomb, west of Schull County Cork

Theres a concrete lintle supporting the slap at one corner!!

Dunbeacon Standing Stones (2 miles west of Durrus County Cork)
These point roughly to the next target over the harvested field to the right

Dunbeacon Circle

6 stones remain standing

250 km round trip, couldn't think of a better way to spend a half day

My wife's garandfather is from Belfast, My grandfather is from Aloa, Scottland. I keep trying to get her to visit both, maybe if I show her some of your pictures I can sway her in to going, she doesn't like long flights! Nice pictures!
