The new hinges have a top notch finish & fit, not like the stamped out pop rivetted crap HD uses. (thanks Dick, a great product.)

I installed the HD TP hinges this weekend. It took about 3 hours as it takes a little longer on the 2001 SERG due to the inner TP liners they have to be removed. The drilling also is a slow process as the rivet spins when drilling so you have to be patient and hold the head of the rivet. I also used a right angle drill adapter for the hinges that are on the side of the CD player. I drilled slightly smaller than 3/16 and on one lid hing I had to elongate the holes a little as the hing was hitting where it goes around the gasket flange. I also kept the base screws loose until I had the lid attached then I torqued all the screws at once. I did not use loctite red but used blue instead as that is plenty strong enough to hold these screws in place.
