Question guys

 Riding along just fine when i looked down @ speed & it wasn't working, it or tach & battery light was on?? Every thing else worked fine lights,blinkers,starter??
Next day started bike & everything works fine again??
Lots of ?? Any thoughts

Hey Jimmy,

I have the exact same bike, color and all. You might want to check under the seat forward where the seat tab is located.  There are two bolts holding down a bracket for the wiring and under those bots are ground wires.  One is a direct ground for the battery (rightside) and the left one has two other grounded wires.  Not sure what they are for exactly, but I recently loosened the left one to run some extra wiring for a GPS unit and forgot to tighten the bolt.  The next time I rode the bike the check engine and the battery light came on.  I don't remember if the speedo quit but I tightened the offending bolt and have not had a problem since.  Good luck and hope this helps a little.  Enjoy the bike, I certainly am.

I have the same problem. Sometimes i turn the bike off and it seems to reset it.

So how is it going?  Have you found what caused your electrical problem yet?

Not yet, looked @ wires under seat, checked all exposed wires & connections??
Put ~150 miles on since w/ no problems?? I don't know if there is some kind of relay that resets itself?? Still lota of ?? & few answers.

Mine hasn't come on again, but I think my problem was the loose grounds.  Good luck in trying to find the elusive gremlin.
