I have these pistons in mine and I now get the occasionally sparknock that I never got before. I am careful of what name brand of gas I use but still get it at slower speeds. Maybe there is an adjustment I need to do. :nixweiss:

High Compresion will do that and each year our gas blends gets worse and worse... It won't be long until 9:1 will be routine pinger's.

Does SERT adjust your timing curve? That would solve your pinging I think.

Have you had your bike dyno tuned. If so what were the results?

The Delphi ECU has ION sensing to pull out timing if it detects pinging but the better approach is not to build in too much compression utilize a tight squish and tune it properly to avoid ping in the first place. The Delphi knock control is a power drainer and erratically can pull too much timing at times.

In the map you have currently in the bike are you sure that the knock sensor is turned ON?   If you do a data gather you can capture when the knock sensor is going on just remember the event has already happened when you see it.
