Drove through Yellowstone to Cody today, what a beautiful country we live in !!  We were chased around by storms all day but never got cought.

Still lots of chared forest from all the wild fires, but it looked like Spring with all the wild flowers. Nature can be mean sometimes but she always makes up for it.

We were stopped here for about an hour for road improvements, but no regretes. See you tomorrow, we plan on riding Bear Tooth.  Doc

My wife and I did this trip last year, based ourselves out of Cody and had a fantastic time.  You're right, what an incredible country we live in. 

I'm heading for Sturgis and should be there on Sunday, can hardly wait.  But the trip west of the Big Horns last year has been an all time great for me!

We had dinner in Cody last night and enjoyed the food and the company. We ate and planned the next day which will take us to Red Lodge, Montana over the Chief Joseph Highway and Bear Tooth.

Beartooth Highway. The last time I took this it was very narrow and no guardrails. We met a base jumper from our home town that made the jump and just got out of jail.
