[Midnight Rider]

Followed a bunch of riders today to this place.  It's been on a previous post, but thought I would give a little more detail....really cool place!!! [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]  Getting there is a nice, shady two lane with some nice curves and views from the top of the mountain (yes, we have mountains in Alabama).  It's for all bikers....NO cages allowed!!!  They have a nice air conditioned bar/lounge area...3 bucks for a cold one...an outdoor bar/grill with $1.25 dogs for those who want a bite, lots of nice shade trees and grassy places to park the bikes.  All kinds of bikes there...HD, Victory, Crotch Rockets...but predominately HD or knock-offs.  Live music from a pretty good band on an outdoor stage, and lots of picnic tables with umbrellas where there's not shade trees.  Nice hard gravel driveway leading back to what looks like 7 cabins and a campground.  A bike service area and a nice shop where they had jackets, helmets, t-shirts, and all kinds of other doo-dads to part you from your money.  Definitely worth the stop if you're in the area.  Oh, they have a breakfast buffet every weekend morning too!!  I'd say the age range of the people was mostly 40-60, with a few youngsters here and there.  Everybody was having a good time, but no noticeable drunks whoopin' and hollerin'.

No prob Jock...I've been known to indulge myself, but try to pace myself if I'm going to be riding afterwards....Let me put it another way....no bottle fights....people were having a lot of fun, but everybody was nice an friendly, though some look like they could go the other way pretty quickly....I'm a lover, not a fighter.
