Phaze's wife is ill in the cardiac ICU.  Diagnosis is incomplete but they suspect viral heart infection.  Please keep Preston and Rhnea in your thoughts and prayers.

Saw Preston and Rhnea today....she got a defibrillator and the surgery was a success  She may get to go home Sunday. They are very thankful that the problem was found and fixed.

Thanks for the thoughts and prayers!  This isn't the kind of thing that you want to go through and it's even tougher when it's a loved one, but God had us in the right places and at the right times for the events of this week.  We have a granddaughter due in New Mexico today, so thanks to God that we were not on some lonely stretch of I-40 when some of the events occurred.  It's easy to use the term "lucky", but it's also easy to see God's providence when you consider your history and know that he had a hand in your life and the lives of your loved ones!

Rhnea did not have a heart attack, but they think something viral diminished the left ventricular area of her heart.  The ICD (Internal Cardioverter Defibrillator) will control the irregular heart activity and keep her out of vfib.  We're optimistic that treatment will strengthen the heart and improve the function, so the continued thoughts and prayers are appreciated.  We've been in the hospital since Monday, so it will be nice to get home and it does look like we'll get out of here by tomorrow.

Thanks again,
Preston
