Okay, just a fun thread to tell everyone else what you did on your day off.
Anyone can post up and join it. Makes for a good time killer.



Felt like I cheated on the bike today. Loaded up the truck with gear and went to the campgrounds we belong to for a little fishing. Got sunburned, drank some beer and caught a few fish but nothing worth bringing back home. Left the gear at the camper so next time I can ride the bike down.

Just had 2 days off......rode my scoot all day both days  My grass needs cutting,  maybe next week.

We left the son with grandparents, rode thru NE OK, NW AR, SW MO, and back to NE OK.  Stayed Sat night just outside of Joplin, ate dinner in Joplin and rode around to see how they are doing after 1 yr (1 yr anniv is Tues May 22nd).  They have made lots of progress in 1 yr!  Very somber feelings for the 161 lives that were lost in the F5 tornado in Joplin at this time last year.  Joplin folks are resilient, they are looking good!

It was a good ride, we enjoyed our time together, and put 452 miles on the scooter.

Changing the oil in the wife's avy. Debugging a weeks worth of bugs off the bike and then going for a ride to bug it all up again.
Day 1 of vacation.

I went boating on Lake Wylie for the majority of the day, and yesterday. Awesome time with my buds and great time on the lake. Riding tomorrow!

We did 350 miles today and never left the state. Left Canton and went the slab down to Marietta. Over 550 to Athens for lunch then across 50 to 555 north to Zanesville. 555 is Ohio's version of the Dragon so I've heard. First time I had been on it. Quite a ride. Slabbed it back home just in time to beat 20 mins of heavy rain. Just about time to go get some ice cream now. I know a great place about an hour from here

Spent a couple hours at Freedom HD in N. Canton, Ohio while they tightened up the neck bearings that the idiots at Adventure HD in Dover, Oh missed 300 miles ago when they did the 5k service  I know the service wasn't on their checklist but how the hell did a tech doing a test ride miss any wobble at all?  It started to get so bad when I first noticed it that I don't believe it wasn't even slightly loose when the did the service.

I have to say Freedom will be the only shop I take my bike to from here on out. They've been good to me with this bike even though I bought it used from a metric dealer.

After that was all said and done, I put the new TP hinges on. Much nicer look.
