About 90hp 115tq give or take a few once tuned.

Yep.
Headwork, cams, a t/body and a good pipe.
Take it out on the tarmac, and let it eat.

Will cylinder head port work, harm the crank?
No.
The root issue, is lack of correct interference fit, at the point of manufacture/assembly.

Powder coat them to match the bike.
