110" SE engine, what's it worth?
« on: February 09, 2013, 11:49:48 AM »

Anyone have an idea of what an 08 110" with just under 1k miles is worth?

Thanks,
Rob

Saw a new take out at a dealer for $3150. Less than 10 miles. Yours should be worth close to that.

It's worth whatever you can get someone to pay for it.

That's a pretty good price seeing as its about 2k for a rebuild if you don't do it yourself.

For reference, a new 110A crate engine from Harley is $5195 in the 2013 SE catalog (does not include a throttle body and a couple other parts).  Unless you plan to offer the person buying yours a warranty, you would of course need to scale back your price to be competitive with one of the discount dealers.  I'd suggest starting out around $4k asking price and negotiate from there.

I'd sell with TB and I'd be happy to get near 4k.

there was 1 on this site a few weeks back for $2195 that took a couple of weeks to sell. Just a FYI. As said, its worth what someone will pay for it.
