Those of you that know doc at docs performance tuning in clermont fl. Should know he was rushed to hospital with kidney and pancreatic issues. He will have surgery in the next few days when infection is under control.
His real name is irwin weaver (id go by doc too!)

Just want to alert all doc of docs performance tuning is in the hospital and will be for about two weeks.
Docs a frequent poster and source of info for all of us. His shop is in clearmont florida.
He is in the hospital there. Real name irwin weaver.

Doc, Is in surgery now and hopefully thing will come out fine but let's all keep him in out thoughts and prayers. Should here later today how things went.

Just got word that Doc is out of surgery and in recovery now. This went well they said and if things continue to go well he MAY be let out of the hospital to go home on Saturday. Going to be sore for a few weeks yet to come and going to have to watch himself for awhile.

Thanks for the updates Steve. Doc really is a great guy. My wife and I hate that he is having to go through all this. Just talked to him on the phone last week while we were v-tuning my son-in-laws bike. The guy is always glad to help a brother.

Today's Update

Surgery appears to have gone well, removed Gall Bladder. Color starting to come back and Doc starting to tell the nurses what to do. They say Sunday at the soonest for him to get out now but he still has an infection so that will be the decision maker. His sister is arriving today so she can help him once he gets out. I doubt he will be back at work until late next week but with Doc who knows for sure.

Got to talk with Doc himself today for the first time since he got sick, week ago Friday, so he is on the mend. Looks like he will get out Sunday to go home with his sister. Going to be another week most likely before he can get back to working a limited schedule. To anyone that has/had an appointment with him from now until July 8 please bear with him, in his time of need here. Things will get done or rescheduled as soon as it can be done. He needs to get his strength back from being sick and flat on his back for 10 days. At our age it takes longer than the younger people. I'm sure he will come on and post himself once he gets home and settled back in.

I'm home now recovering from surgery...my brain is still numb from the drugs and all the other junk you go through in the hospital for a week. My Pancreas is still a little infected but hopefully the drain tune will come out tomorrow when I visit the Surgeon.
Glad to be home and I will write more later.

Doc I am so glad you are home and recovering. Hospitals can be the puts. Take care my friend, you will be in our thoughts and prayers for an even more speedier recovery.

Before you know it this will be just one of these bad medical memories you have in life. The best part is, the memories that are coming when you get back on two wheels will far outway those bad hospital days.
