Thanks DJ for the pictures there great. also thenks to you and everybody else for all the info makes it
a lot more easy to decide what i need. Better to get the real scoop from friends, rather than some guy just trying to sell you what ever he has.

As always you guys are the best! [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]

I got the canon A540 for the exact reasons DJ mentioned. I love it! You can put it around your neck or you can place it in your front pouch or pocket. Hold with one hand and takes great pics.

The small Canon digital Elphs are great camera's and they have one out now that is 9 megapixels I believe.  Small, easy to use, relatively affordable, and always ready to go.  They take awesome shots and have all the cool stuff like stabilize control etc.  You won't go wrong or be disappointed with one of these and they are really easy to carry around due to their small size.  They have a 2.5" screen now so very easy to view.

Good luck.

I am partial to the Sony Cybershot myself, I have ever operated it with riding gloves on with no problems.

We replaced our cannon sure shot with the Nikon Cool Pix L1 just before leaving to Canada this spring.  We wanted one that our old eyes could work with .......... some of the new stuff has real small buttons and us more mature folk don't see so good sometimes.  I wear trifocals to work, but when playin hate to be forced to look for the magnifying glass to take a pic that is here now and won't be in a moment.  We love the one we got, takes great photos.  Now remember the story, if you want a better picture, ya gotta bring a better face.   ;D
