Risers
« on: July 09, 2014, 01:28:07 PM »

Does anybody have a parts book for a 2007 CVO Springer.

Are the Handlebar Risers one part or two parts?  Ie Riser with a spacer underneath?

I was riding down a sandy zig-zag road down towards a beach restaurant, but unfortunately had to stop on a steep corner and had to lay the bike down on its side, no the handlebars are a little off centre because one of the risers is crushed.

Hi Ice,

They are two separate parts.

Looking at your photo, you need to purchase a new spacer (riser stud).

Any other damage? Luckily the road down to the beach was covered by a layer of soft sand.

I layed the bike down as softly as possible injuring my right shoulder, after almost 2 weeks still has some pain if I lift my arm high, maybe a slight crack of a bone. Havent bothered to get myself checked out.  it will heal naturally.

Bike Damage= Scratch on front indicator lens. Brake Pedal very slightly scuffed but polished out.
Luckily I have the Screaming Eagle Heavy Breather Air Cleaner fitted, so that saved the tank. Just needed a new Rain cover.
Exhaust was protected by passenger foot peg, with wasnt damaged.

Bike now has over 71,000km. so I am not to bothered about signs of useage.
