I just gotta say that if you know HD's from AMF days and before, you have to be ecstatic by HD quality today. I think they do an admirable job considering they pump out hundreds of thousands every year. I know they guy with the problem will never agree, but you've read the expression for that above. Overall, it's the best damn motorcycle in the world! (I'm not giving up my warranty though ;D )  ;)  Hoist!  8-)

I couldn't have said it better myself.  I remember the days when it seemed like I had to work on it every time I rode it.  Those days are long gone.

That would depend on what year your bike is and wether or not you bought the extended warranty. [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

You are always a help JCZ, but in this case I was riding the Hoister a bit as he failed to add his obligatory 2yr warranty comment when referring to a warranty.

Busy morning here too with new members jumping on and all kinds of good chatter.

When you get right down to it, no matter what we acquire, we can find something wrong with it.  "Wrong" might be a subjective term.  What I consider wrong, others might not consider wrong.  Plenty of us found plenty wrong with our CVO bikes.  I found stuff wrong with my new truck, and my new house.  I found stuff that I think is wrong with my CVO that others may not have thought of.  I think the wire routing under the seat is wrong and will lead to chaffing.  Unfortunately, that is not a warranty issue, so I'm left to correct that fault to my standards.  On the other hand, there is the paint problems on the 06 SEUC......nothing more needs to be said on that one.  I think it is wrong to let the diesel engine breather on my truck vent overboard and drip on my driveway.  Unfortunately, Dodge and Cummins do not agree with me, so I found my own way to fix that issue.  As for my house, well............I'll leave that one alone.
My point is we all have different interpretations of "wrong."  Sometimes "wrong" is obvious........in the case of the 06 SEUC paint issue.  Other times it is a matter of opinion.........in the case of my dislike of HD's wire routing.  I guess I'm a picky, "hard to satisfy" a$$hole.  ;D ;D ;D

Ok i got some minor paint issues on my front fender and a few very minor things here and there but do i care???
NNOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As long as its from MOCO its all good.
I rode a Goldwing this summer instead id rather ride a Honda Civic the feeling is exactly that lol!!!!!!
Every manufactured thing has its small imperfections but isnt the details such as small vear and tear that make these bikes ours???Other than that all i care is the motor running nice and clean other parts are always easily replacable unless flagged OBSOLETE lol.My point is i also like my bike TipTop condition but at the same time there will always be some minor things here and there and it adds characther to the way my bike looks. That meakes the difference between a well ridden one and a garage queen.
