And in South Carolina you can marry your sister. Saves on the travel time.

We in South Carolina are starting a movement to close our boarders to all immigrants from other states. This movement is because we like the state the way it is and don't give a damn how it's done back home. If the way it was done back home is so great, then why the hell are you moving away? Only active military and their dependents will be exempt. You only have to look at the Myrtle Beach, Grand Strand, and Hilton Head areas to understand our plight. We will still open our hearts and arms to tourists , however stays of longer than 30 days will be forbidden! Children born in this state will be allowed to return at any time with their wives/husbands and dependents. Politicians from other states must obtain a visa to enter the state and then they have to keep their views and opinions to themselves. All others will be shot on sight and their bodies will be fed to the feral hogs or alligators.
This message is brought to you by the state tourism division of the Chamber of Commerce. Okay maybe not the CoC.

That's West Virginia and East Tennessee. It's only legal in South Carolina if you don't have any cousins.

I should not respond to this topic but here goes. When I got drafted it was for all the states so why wouldn't I live where ever I wanted to. South and North Carolina included.

As I stated, it is being worked on. There are a few things to work out yet. And having served in the military is certainly one of them.

Hey Smokey,
If she is that pretty, has all her teeth and likes Harleys send her up north my way. Also has a job would be a bonus. :-)

MIKEYTEE, I need your expert opinion.  Some of my family are in the Anderson, SC area, and we've been having an ongoing debate.  The question is:  When you get a divorce in So Carolina, is your ex-wife still your sister?

I've lived all over the good ol' USofA, and have loved every place I've lived.  You've got nothing but great options!

I currently live in Coronado.  Some consider it heaven on earth.....others refer to it as Paradise.  But the state that has the best riding in the nation is Western Colorado.  I envy San Juan Ron.......lives on the California coast (just north of here) in the winter and up in the Colorado Rockies in the summer.  I can only dream.........

Only if she was when you married her, otherwise she may be your wife-in-law or step mother depending on which family reunion you were at when you picked her up.
