That might be a temperature issue in extreme climates, only thing I could think of to have the 120V set up.

Hadn't considered that.  Small batteries and very cold very thick oil.  Could very well need something with the endurance to keep it running through quite a few cycles to get it loosened up and fired the first time.

The problem is the battery.  It may sit for a month at a time in the very cold.  They're almost always in a garage near a power source anyhow.  Most of us in the snowy areas have learned to get up early when a good deal of snow is in the forecast to have enough time to blow the snow to get to work and get the kids off to school on time.  We actually had a day here a couple years ago when we received 2 feet of snow during the night and school wasn't closed.  It stopped early enough (5AM) for the town to get the roads cleared in time for the school buses.  The driveways were another matter entirely!

Good grief.  Two feet is more than I might have to shovel in an entire winter some years.  I would not be a happy camper.  I don't want a pickle.....

Well I ordered the Honda.

$2600.00 and 0% for 12 mo. no pymts.

The dealer let slip it costs him 1% if I do the 0% so when I go to pick it up I'm going to see if I can get the extra $250.00 off.  Why pay the bank?

Anyway, I should have it for this weekend. :bananarock: :bananarock: :coolblue:

That's a nice set up as long as the JD has a front PTO.  The neck would get awful sore turned around the whole time... :stars: :stars:  Great idea though, It'll blow the cars, children, pets, mail boxes, neighbors........ anything that might be in the way!

I've also got this sickness with John Deere mowers. For what my mower costs.....HEY...did you know they come out with a utility tractor with a can and A/C? I wonder of I could get the Hawg Wired system mounted in there? Corbin seat? Heated steering wheel? Chrome starter?

I’ve got a Toro CCR 2450 5 HP….. bought it on the recommendation of a friend who uses the same model in his landscaping/snow removal business.

We paid $1000.00 for it about four years ago, it runs great and will throw just about anything about 40 feet.

Best thing is it has both a pull and electric start… only have to go electric at the beginning of the season!

I'll bet the Honda blower's ACR's don't work intermittantly and fry wiring... ;)  Sounds like a nice blower, Rog.

Can I come live in your RV?  ;)

I've owned Honda walk behind mowers for years...never more than two pulls, and never any problems.

You guys can keep all that 2 feet of snow at night chit up there.  In B'ham, if it snows 20 inches, you ain't going nowhere, no matter how clear your driveway is...the whole city is closed.  We got 20+ inches in March, '93...couldn't get anywhere for 4 days, and power was off at my house for 7 days.  First couple of nights it was in single digits.  That only happens every 100 years or so, thank goodness.

I tried to tell you, but what can you do, right!!

The one that I posted on here for you earlier has all the same features and only costs $1,120.00, thats less than half of the Honda!!
You won't like those tracks, cause it's hard to move around when it's not running and they have no traction on slippery conditions!! The tires grab better when it is slippery!!

The Husqvarna 1330osbe-xp has a 13-hp OHV Tecumseh motor, elec. & pull start also!!

Well, It's JMO, the Hondas are good, but it's the name that you pay for mostly!!

I have used both and hands down the Husqvarna is much better!! JMO  :nixweiss:

                                                                      Later,
                                                                               MIKE :vrolijk_10:

Well, right or wrong it's here and I doubt the moving it around will be an issue in my case as it has its own little spot in the garage.

I'm sure you pay for a name, but since I sell on that principal I guess I buy on it as well.

I will have a good test as well since there is apparently a foot or more at the house now, accumulating in the last week.
