Ok so I have 3 helmets that I wear that are weather or trip related. I have one HD Sena 30K unit that is mounted to one of the helmets. My question is, if I put standard Sena helmet clamps (which include the speakers) on the other 2 helmets and move just the HD 30K unit from helmet to helmet will I get the stereo sound? So is it just the HD 30k unit that allows the stereo sound or do you have to use the HD helmet clamp as well?

I have two helmets a full face, which has the Harley branded sena mount on it and the 30K. Works fine and is stereo in he Helmet or the bike speakers.
On the half helmet I have the Sena branded mount and the speakers up plugged. Works fine on the bike stereo.
I believe that it will not matter the mount, as the programing in the head set is what determines weather it will be stereo on a HD boom system. The mount is just hardware..
