Thanks Don,

Hey, the ABS scanner you have... is it the Daytona Twin 2? Just asking because I am getting ready to buy one

Almost certain that's what it is.  Hang on a sec and I'll go look in the tool box to be sure.

Here we go.

Twin Scan II ABS.  Have used it a few times for its ABS function.  Works like a champ and will work fine your 09.  Link to what I've got is below:

If by chance you've got their old Twin Scan II tool they will do a surprisingly less expensive upgrade to the Twin Scan II ABS version if you mail them yours.

Appreciate the offer Don, but I don't see this bike ever going away so I just as well tool up for it. Just dropped about $1500 at the local dealer over ABS problems and a month later I am having issues again. If I had bought the scanner the first time it would have already paid for itself. And I always need more tools to pile in the motorcycle box... ;D

Amen to that.  The Twin Scan tool is handy to have.  While it does let you bleed ABS it is also an engine monitoring and diagnostics tool.  They also offer an O2 sensor accessory kit that lets you chase your tune using the same tool if you're so inclined.  It's a handy piece of kit to have around and worth having in the tool box.  You'll need a Windows PC that can get close to the bike.  Won't work with tablet or phone.
