I have a whole bunch of experience with it. Don't worry they will get it straight. What are you running in your motor and what size motor are you running and what exhaust?

What is actually wrong? Did it run good then bad? I have had some problems with the Thundermax also, my first one was a bunk ECM, The second one worked fine it took all my decel pops and backfires away and the bike felt like it ran stronger. I put the bike in for a stage 2 kit (1550, 203's already have the A/C and Quiet baffled Rineharts) and at the time they dont have a map for a 2006 with those mods, but they are working on it. Also I always carry my stock ECM, just in case.

Thanks for the encouragement. I did feel good about Dan, the Zippers guy that installed it. He seemed very sincere and knowlegable.
I HAVE A 2005 FLHTCUI.
I am running a 103 stage I KIT WITH 253 CAM, 3 7/8 CAST PISTONS, REINHARDT TRUE DUELS AND SE AIR CLEANER. THE BIKE HAS HAD A HD RACE TUNE.
IT RAN ABOUT THE SAME WHEN FIRST DONE, THEN GRADUALLY GETTING WORSE. POWER IS DOWN, SLUGGISH, SLIGHT MISS, HIGH IDELING AND EVEN SEEMS TO RUN A LITTLE HOT.
I HAVE A CALL AND E-MAIL IN TO "DAN" AT ZIPPERS, BUT NO ANSWER YET.

THANKS AGAIN

I have been waiting over three weeks for mine to come in. Tony at Zippers called me and said it will be shipped Tuesday and I should see it by Friday (today). Got a call from Tony today and said it wasn't shipped. >:( He personally shipped it this morning and I should see it by Tuesday.

My scooter has been at dealer now for two weeks. Cams, exhaust, inner fairing, rear tire and 10,000 mile service completed and I have to go another weekend with out my Lil Banana! I certainly hope it was the Lord looking out for me keeping me from getting one with problems!! He also said he didn't know when my air filter will be in! [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

All said, I have been happy with Zippers and Tony has been very helpful for me. I just can't wait to get my scooter back!!!! :'( It's like going thru the wait all over again like I did waiting on her to be born. Everyone was getting theirs and I had to wait! Oh well, I can make it a few more days....I think. ;D God Bless!

Big Al, I got mine today and dropped it off at my dealer so yours may be there soon! [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] I made my order with Tony and I got his direct extension. I have had no problems with getting thru unless he was with a customer. He told me he would ship it out last week and called me Friday and said they did not ship it! >:( He said he personally handled it this time and I got it today! Good Luck, God Bless! Hey Al, aren't the fatcats Awesome! I think they look sooo good, can't wait to hear them babys! See Ya.

what is the benefit of the thunder max over the power commander or the race tuner?
who programs it?
is it dyno tuner friendly?
do you need special software to dyno the bike?

Just talked to Pat White....apparently the delay is because they don't yet have a map for the SEEG 2006 w. D&D Fat Cats...its "high on the list, but no forecast as to when..." :(

I am in wait mode.... [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

Just an update from JAB. Got an e-mail from Dan at Zippers last week and answered immediately. That was last Saturday and I have heard nothing else. [smiley=nixweiss.gif]
So far I'm not impressed with their service or communication after the sale. I won't loose  :the use of my bike for another week-end.

I'll keep you posted.
Thanks,
John :)

Dan at Zippers sent me a new map on thursday.  [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]I installed it, tried it out and although their are still some issues, I am at least back on the road. I keep us posted.
