2010 models show at Rapid City

The MOCO will unveiled 34 different bikes at the Rushmore civic center at Rapid City during the Sturgis bike week.

I'm betting different trim or paint combinations and a name like "iron", or "dark" to go with with will be a "new model".  Not in my book, but "Same crap, different colors" doesn't make very good ad copy.

I have a contact that books the place harley is usually at in Rapid and was told Harley pulled the plug and is comingn to Strugis. Hard to believe but that is what I am told.

Where is Sturgis would they go?  I can't imagine Harley putting their new bikes outside, or even in tents.  Maybe they rented the Thunderdome?   :nixweiss:

Looks like they think they will be there.

A friend of mine from Rapid City usualy works with a company that sets up the displays at the civic center. He told me a few weeks ago that HD cancelled their contract and said they weren't doing anything this year at the civic center. Seems like there is some confusion amongst the parties involved.
