Griot just came out with a new 3 inch professional orbital.
The old one is on sale for 50 bucks if you are in the area of a store. They may send you one if you know someone.

Thanks TJ - Spoke to Eric after calling the 800 number and he checked with the store and sold me one over the phone for $50. Good deal!  Thanks for the alert!

Have been looking to get one of these. Where did you find them for $50 called the 800# and he knew nothing about this. More info please.

it's been a week since I saw them on the shelf. They were getting rid of the old style. My store is out but you could try and call some of their retail stores if you want to. I don't have any phone numbers however.

As I related below, I called the 800 number and told the sales rep about 3" orbitals. He said they had 2 including a new "Professional model" I asked if the old one was on sale, he said no. I said I had heard they were going for $50 in the stores. He called one of the stores and confirmed that and agreed to sell it to me for $50. Got it yesterday. Steal of the week. Can't imagine how the "professional" model would be much better. Thanks again for the heads up tjstreetglide!

  just got off the phone with eric at griots, he set me up with 2 at 50ea., he then gave me a discount on the pads for it. very happy with griots and the info from the site. griots #800-345-5789 and talk to eric if possible.

Just scored one myself. You need to talk with Eric as he's the only one that seems to know this deal. 15% off other catalog items too. Great tip tjstreetglide! Been wanting one of these for a while.
