S&S or Fueling Cam Plate/ Oil Pump

Is it worth to change out the Cam Plate/Oil Pump to either the Fueling or S&S probably going to be changing cam out in next 2 weeks or so. Or just change oil pump to latest one & roll...

Seems most the big name builders like GMR and others are now using the 2020 Harley 8 Lobe oil pump rather than the S&S or Fueling.  I also a couple people that have chose to go HD 2020 8 lobe.  So far no reports of it sumping.  When I do my build it will be the 2020 HD 8 lobe.

I went ahead and just ordered a new 2020 oil pump.

Do all the 2020's come with the new pump or do some of the ones built in 2019 have the old pump? I bought mine in October of 2019.

All 2020 have the new oil pumps, 2019 built after June also have the new pumps...
