Shortly after posting this, I saw a few screenshots on another forum that pretty much shows fairly credible web pages with them listed as Fatboy S and Slim S, as in normal Softail line models.

They are definitely "Specials" at least. I'll bet they cost as much as the last softail CVO's, the Deluxe, Breakout, and Convertible.

I would speculate that the 110 will definitely be in the 2017 Touring bikes, if not the entire big twin line. That would probably mean the 120 in the CVO's.

With all the issues HD has had with the 110 (and the CVOs in general) I have tepid enthusiasm about seeing a 120.  The 103 seems to be relatively problem free, so again, if the 110 becomes the default engine for all tourers, I'm not sure that's a step forward.

I think you all are going down the wrong path. In a recent article, Harley officials said they want to increase sales of Harley's to a younger demographic. Twitter and Periscope are tools of this targeted demographic. Just supposition here, but I think this is where Harley looks at a Livewire and screams "It's Alive!!!"

Going to agree with you here. Was interesting until they said they were showing only 4 bikes and they were all sportster based. Then they did the around the world try and it got messed up after Portland and you had to go back to twitter to get the link for the next part of the world. And I don't know about the message regarding too busy with 4k viewers. Oh well, first time is going be hard for something like this. Wish I could have seen it on my computer rather than my phone.

Thanks.. glad I have my 2015. I don't care for any of the new colors on the CVO Road Glide Ultra. Stardust Silver and Palladium Silver probably is the most appealing to me. Noticed that they popped the MSRP on FLTRUSE just above $40k for 2016. Oh Boy..

I like some of the colors on the 2016 FLTRU better than the CVO colors .. and the price is a lot more appealing too. Wow.

Just saw the new MSRPs and it gave me an aneurysm.  Far less raw material, far less overall engineering, far less parts and far less systems, far less safety and far less hauling capability than some of the new Cadillacs that are out there for less money.

There will be some women and a few brave men who will be able to ride that color in comfort.

In general, I was impressed with the colors and graphics selection for the RG, RG Special and the RG Ultra. Frankly it's nice to see them try to bring a bit of pizzazz to the RG lineup. Seems that the SGs have always gotten the best color/graphics in the past.

I want a red that POPS and it's been a while.

The "electric red pearl" on the moco's site looks precisely meh... but I DO want to see one in the sun before writing if off.

I looked at it with Google Chrome and I see it now.  Must be a Firefox issue with the trackers I disable.

Notice how all of the pictures with the "sporty style" have the riders leaned forward.  Looks really uncomfortable to me.

The Palaydium Silver/Phantom Blue limited is a great looking bike, as is the Carbon Crystal with Phantom Flames Street Glide.

Neither one is quite enough to make me spend my money right now however....

The Periscope feed was neat for the technical aspects involved, even if I was among those expecting more details on the new bikes. All this newfangled communication tech is often enough to boggle your mind.

Still a pile of money for 2 wheels, and now that the market is flooded with CVO's I'm thinking I might be better off buying a standard model and building my own CVO which is unique.

Last year's Ultra came without a CB for the first time and now it appears that although they equip them with the plug-in for CB, if you want it you will have to pay approx. $1K to go live - yikes!

A comment on the '16 model year and colors.  A couple catch my eye but it seems the MoCo took the year off across the board.  If you don't have any new models (come on HD, introducing the Heritage Classic as a new model?...give me a break) then take the time to polish the line you have and that should include paint offerings, paint quality, parts improvements, fit, etc. 
Polish the apple, don't just let it sit on the tree and rot.

Yeah, am sure they look ok but it seems like an auto pilot year.  Maybe mid year or 2017 will be different?

That picture, I believe, is of a 2015 CVO  Softail Deluxe.  Note the Ventilator A/C and 110 Engine designation.

Very strange. I remember buying my 2010 Heritage (also a price drop that year compared to 2009). I thought hey $500 more than the Deluxe and I get bags, back rest, and windshield. No brainer. Now the Deluxe is more and it makes no sense. But rest assured the price on the Heritage will go up every year from now on for at least six or seven years.

At least they finally cracked the $40K mark with the new CVORG. Other than that, it doesn't look like anything radical was planned for this year.
