I have been looking at the custom dynamics lid light for my tour pak. Was wondering if anyone has installed it. The thing that is keeping me from buying it is I don’t want the wire to rub through the paint under the seat. Seeing as my bike is a sg that I put a removable pak on and take the rear pad off sometimes I don’t want a rub mark on the fender. I had an 04 ultra with a removable pak and the wiring harness under the seat ware a spot on the fender. Does anyone have any good ideas how to avoid that?

Clear PPF applied neatly to the areas where rubbing might tale place = I have it on lots of places on my bike for that reason.
