Maybe they should have done more testing of the brakes before full throttle on the engines. :nixweiss:

The incident happened during a final round of tests where the plane's engines are powered up full-throttle as the brakes are applied.

I am sure the investigation will report a Charlie Fox was the cause. 

Tehre's no way that would happen if all systems were in order.  Maybe somebody just forgot to set the brakes all together, regardless I'm glad is wasn't the Lazy B that had it happen.  We don't need any bad news out here.

Saw that on the wires early yesterday.  Bad day indeed.  Enough to make one almost feel sorry for EADS.  Just when they finally get one A380 in to the hands of a customer they play bumper car with a brand new A340 during their own test before it ever gets in the hands of the customer.  Poor EADS ::) .



(Wanna bet someone at Boeing bought a round of drinks for the house last night?)

The plane did not have the ABS Brakes like on the Harley Davidson '08 SEUC!!!!!
