If you are considering stereo....
I just went thru quite a process getting one designed, trouble-shot, and finally done. I can tell you, what I have now is over-the-top awesome and I am very pleased. These CVO's have different electrical issues and more, so make sure your installer knows that.
I did a Rockford Fosgate amp in the fairing (cant remember model, will get it if you care)
And 6 "Focal" brand speakers in the fairing (2 new tweeters, two new in dash, and 2 more new down in the well pointing inward)
The trick was to get the stereo updated at the dealer to get a fader! WOW, being able to push the sound down in the well and balance it out with the ones on the dash that melt your face off--- is what made the sound come to life. It gives the sound a stereo presence that is incredible.
And it is so loud and clear it is great. I aint joking, this is loud. I would never guess a motorcycle could rock like this. Very happy !
Did not lose the bags at all, and have incredible clarity, volume, and presence. Exactly what I wanted.
Cost about $2k +
