I have heard that the Mid Year CVO Road Glide will be Sand Dune.  Also the lower fangs have changed a little with more kick out.  Have not heard of any other changes.

Actually my white Skunk showed dirt and dust less than any other bike I have owned.  It was the black on that bike that showed everything.

I was thinking more of tar dots than anything, Dave.  Yep, Skunkrider still has his and you are correct, the pearl white does hold it's own compared to the pearl black on that bike.

Still, that's a LOT of white....

Some guy on one of the Road Glide pages on FB. No clue who He is or what He does for a living if He's part of MoCo or Burger King.  :nixweiss: Could be a bike painted up and with some CVO look alike badges on it for all I know.  :drink:

Because your vague ways of asking for sh!t is annoying. Now if you would have said, I'm on FB, what group are your talking about instead of just asking for a link, I might have understood you better. I was thinking that you wanted a link to the place where the pix was taken in which I don't have. Again, more specifics are not a bad thing. It's either in Road Glide Nation or Road Glide Owners World Wide. Quite honestly, I forget which.

Just what I was thinking...    Maybe a white Road Glide Special from the accessory catalog with a chopped guard and fang spoiler then it's just a matter of photo shopping the CVO Graphic on the bag,  the bar and shield to the tank, and the engine....    :nixweiss:

I can't imagine that anyone would commit to buy one before seeing any official literature, specs and photos.   So far I have seen nothing 'Official'
I even called HD Customer service and they said that they have no info on a 2020.5 CVO Road Glide at this time.
Doesn't mean they aren't making it.    Just wish they would release some info on it.
On a side note, unless they do something really cool, then I can't imagine it being super popular, after the stunning run of 2019's they built!

Figured your pool would be froze over by now. Is PB working winters down at Stu's place in FL this year?

Harley is not actually on the ball on getting web site rite.  Not shocked there is no info, its been that way on other mid year releases.

I can't imagine that anyone would commit to buy one before seeing any official literature, specs and photos.   So far I have seen nothing 'Official'

Well, I know the dealer I uses has more deposits than 2020 CVO road glides coming in at this point.  Not surprised, as in 2018 I had a deposit on a CVO road glide if they made one, back before they even said what the CVO's were that year.

I have a feeling that it will be very popular, for two reasons.  Its a mid year bike and low production numbers for both the color and the 2020 CVO Road Glide.

I didn't think the gunship gray would be popular but it was.  I think this years would be more popular if it was using black chrome on the heat shields and such like the 2018 gunship did instead of this brushed stuff I am not wild about..

I believe when someone posts about "the pool boy" they are referring to a mythical person that was rumored to leak advance info on the coming model year etc. Such as I was talking to Willie G's pool boy and he said something was going to be released soon.....usually said as a running joke in response to threads started each year about the coming features of the next year's CVO bikes and usually started with some rumor that was heard at the poster's local dealership.
Of course the long term members who post about the "pool boy" or some other insider claim the info is as true as the rumor from the dealership but who knows only time will tell who was right... :huepfenlol2:

Not sure how this excerpt from an article will play out.

"Harley-Davidson’s Custom Vehicle Operations lineup is dropping the CVO Road Glide, replacing it with the CVO Tri Glide. According to Harley-Davidson, the Tri Glide is the most requested model to receive the premium CVO treatment."

We will see. I have seen the threads from back in December claiming they would be in dealers in 2-3 weeks. Others have said they were in route now. Another said mid to late January. It is now February. No one has seen one, no press announcements. Has Harley added a mid year inclusion for the CVO before? They dropped the Roadglide for one entire model year. I hope my skepticism is unwarranted.

The MoCo just does not seem like they would take requests to overturn something they already announced they would not do. Heck, they do not listen to us now about how to make their bikes better.

Harley web site was supposed to be updated today with the New 2020 CVO Road Glide, and the new Limited Yellow Fuse color for the Road Glide Special and the 30th anniversary fatboy.  Its not been updated yet.  I have seen pictures at the dealer on Saturday of all three.

I'm thinking the way to go would be the Yellow Fuse RGS with the 131 installed at delivery, as it blacked out and has flashier paint than the CVO.  You no longer get xm with the CVO.  You could add heated grips and a whim module along with the engine upgraded had be in it for less then the CVO.

Only thing that would make me think different is if the CVO RG had the 131 which I seriously doubt.  The 131 all by harley with no aftermarket so covered full factory numbers makes very nice power, Fuel moto and a couple other have posted dyno sheets.

according to the parts fiche, it is stage 2.  showing speaker 76000822, and amp 76000277b.  same setup as the cvo street glide.

speaker looks like stage 2 to me, you can see the tweeter mounted on the grill.

Sad if the audio went to 75 watt a channel.

In the photo you can make out the heated grip controller on the right side I believe. I checked the left side grip to compare and they appear to look different.
Heated grip controls should be on the left, they can be seen on the Harkey site. I don't see a heated seat though.

My bad. I was typing faster than I was thinking. Yes. Controller is on the left. Have the CVO Streetglides and Road Glides come with heated seats in the past? I only recall them being on Ultras.

You may be right. Heated seats may only come stock on CVO Ultras.

Saw the first one at the local dealer today just being prepped out back, the color definitely looks better in person!  Don't know if its sold yet.

Well Dave, does Scott have one reserved for ya?

The old brochures were known for their mistakes in equipment and descriptions.  Maybe the same folks are running the website?
No, but he got two in yesterday.  They look pretty good.  I do think for the mono chrome look the Gunship Grau of 2018 was a much better looking version.

Yes, the grips are heated now.  This is a first for the FLTRXSE.  In the past it was only the Road Glide ultra that got heated grips.

CVO ultras and Limiteds come with heated seats the X models like street glide and road glide do not.

The got two of them in yesterday.  They do look pretty nice.

That said I think the Road Glide Special in the limited color with the eagle on the tank looks much better.  Just do not think you get enough more with the CVO to justify 10K more dollars.

Agreed and from what I read this comes standard with the new REFLEX DEFENSIVE RIDER SYSTEMS...

Price seems to have been reduced by $1400.00. What's missing?

Even reduced by $1,400, this still does not look like a CVO OR a custom, $41,000 modersickle.  I'm not saying it's ugly or anything as some others like to do about other brands/models, just not what I'd call "custom" for that price.

Heck, even the new Roadmaster Elite at $39,000 with all the stuff on that is NOT worth the price, IMO.

Don't want to turn this into a complaint thread but the costs of these "premium" bikes (no matter the manufacture) has gotten WAY out of control... >:(

Dealer price didn't even shock me at $49,990 for a brand new 2020.5 CVO Road Glide.

MSRP on this bike is $40,999.  9k extra is a lot of profit, sounds like something Rossmeyer would do.

Insane on the price.  A friend of ours in NJ just bought one yesterday,  She got 14K for her high milage 2009 CVO RG in trade and she Paid MSRP, with no freight and no dealer set up an no doc fees.

Between what the dealer actually pays for the bike and their markup, they made at least $18K profit.

Yeah, at MSRP they are getting about 20% profit already.  And that 20% doesn't include extra profit items like make ready/prep charges, and various other "extra" charges like inflated registration and plate fees.

UK1. Where did you find the new cvo rg you saw.  I was looking for one yesterday in ft Lauderdale.   None there yet.  Not saying I'm going to buy it.... Just wanted to look.   Thanks. Stuart.

Last Tuesday Smoky Mountain had two,  on for that store and one for Pigeon Forge Store.  I also know a friend just bought one in South New Jersey, she traded her 09 CVORG for it.

The 2019 CVO Street Glide did come with heated grips. I sat on it & asked the salesman why the 19' CVO Road Glide I was buying for $3500 more didn't lol.

Correct, in 19 the SESG had Kahuna Collection and heated grips while the 19 SERG had defiance collection and no heated grips.

For 2020.5 The SERG has Kahuna collection and heated grips, and is less Money than the 19 SERG as it lost XM and a few other things.

Visited a dealer in Cardiff, Wales UK today. They had a CVO SG in Sand Dune. I must admit I really like the colour. It reminds me of a colour that Porsche are doing on the GT3 and Jaguar on the E-Pace.

I just saw one at my El Cajon, CA dealer (East San Diego County).  The dealership was a long time friendly family owned place (1947 - 2012) but was bought by Arizona cycle conglomerate. Their markup on the 2020 FLTR CVO is $12,000  :o :o

I honestly hope no one will pay that mark up.  That is just nuts.

I saw the 2020 CVO Road Glide in person this past weekend while at HD for paint for my bike. For me, I thought it looked nice enough. Just not $40k nice. No pearl or metallic in it or enough that I could see anyway. So it seemed a bit blah. I figured if it had that it would help me justify it more (though no intentions of buying). The CVO tag on the bag with the point on it looks kinda dumb or unfinished I thought.

The Green/yellow RGS with the eagle on it looks nice. The 2 RGS's with the Number 1 painted on them that come in red or blue looked real tacky to me. Reminded me of Evel Knievel bikes or over the top American pride or something lol. Saw a few of the overpriced electric bikes. Nothing fancy there as far as paint.

I didn't get much time to look as the wife was with and she wanted to have dinner & I was holding that up.
