Canyon Copper - Paint Fad?
« on: October 03, 2007, 10:08:46 AM »

It's hard to say with any certainty, but the Canyon Copper appears to be fading on my 2007 FXSESSE. Along the tops of the front fender, forks, Tank, frame - all seem to be a little less "orange" than they were before.??
Anyone else find this as well?
thanks

I am not sure about the fading, but I had to replace the frame, swingarm and forks because the powdercoating was defective.  I just got back from a trip and noticed a spot on the new forks as well.  It seems to be some areas didn't take to the metallic and it is a lighter orange color.

Yes, they replaced the frame, forks and swing arm.  My other bike has powdercoated springs and it does have rock chips too.
