Scratch Removal on Roadglide Daymaker Headlight Lens?

What has everyone used to remove scratches from the RoadGlide Daymaker Headlight Lenses.  Found a few scratches while cleaning and thought of using toothpaste as seen on YouTube, but also seen Novus 3 step or Meguire's Headlight Restoration Kit?  Any suggestions would be appreciated.  Thanks in advance!

I believe it is glass.  Novus is only for lexan and plastic. Not sure what takes scratches out of glass? My suggestion is a good paint compound and a random orbit polisher.
