NO.. they are gloss black PC.. but are NOT the save as the vivid black paint, and it is VERY obvious.

both of the other colors have a metallic flake in them. didnt realize the Maple was just vivid black...it would have looked better with the black on the white one...IMHO

Personally I perfer the Vivid Black. I think metal flake in the black would take away from the flake in the Maple. There is such a thing as too much of a good thing. Of coarse I did trade in a Vivid Black bike

I think the metal flake in the black on the white one looks great, it really complements the flake in the white.  It is not as noticeable a flake as the white.
