Blue or RED
« on: September 04, 2013, 11:07:02 PM »

what color would you buy,Blue or Red? I think the blue is too loud of a color but I could be wrong. Saw a red one and thought it looked more rich and not so much bling.I will see blue one this week. Really need what others think.

Depends if you're a Redskins or Chargers fan.

After having an 05 Deluxe when they first came out, every one thought they were a chick bike. I loved mine then moved up to an 08 streetglide. , then on to an 11 cvo streetglide. all were great bikes . Now at age 75 I just sold my cvo streetglide  because of the weight and moveing it around did not feel comfortable with it. Thought about a triglide until I saw the new cvo deluxe. Sat on one and felt very comfortable with it. I am in good health and still think Ihave a few years left with 2 wheels and a trike in a few years. Bigest problem is what color Blue or red,I think the blue pops but so does the red. blue more for girls?

Well, you're paying for it, so get what YOU like best.

They are all nice, but the different colors make the bike look very different because of the high contrast between the blue/white, and the much lower contrast between the crimson red/ruby red. The darker red highlights the white walls more, while the blue/white accents the entire bike more, and kind of balances with the whitewalls.

Your color choice kind of depends on the overall look you want. The blue/white stands out more, while the red is more subtle and elegant.

That said, if I were buying one, I would go with the Maple Metallic/Atomic Orange... I like any color, as long as it's ORANGE!

IMO. Normally I would of say Blue but I am not loving the blue combined with the white. Looks to old school and boring. So based on that I vote Red. Keep in mind I have not viewed any of the new colors in person. The wide white walls are a bit of an issue for me also. My 99' Road King Classic had them and even thou they looked good they were a real "B" to keep clean. You asked for opinions so there you go. Only you can know what pulls your trigger! Good luck.

Thanks.I think the blue is a little over the top with too much bling. the Red is more layed back and does not over whelm you. When I bought my black and white in 05 every one thought it was a chick bike but with my shorter legs and as I get older the deluxe works fine for me. I think the Blue might be a chick bike.
