I am thinking about getting the Solo seat but am leaning towards no stiching because every time it rains a little bit water always seeps through the stiching and you end up with a wet ass all day.

Thanks!  Nice seats!

Damn.... never thought about that. :nervous:

Those that have either the C&C seat w/stitches can you let us know if this indeed is a worry. I would think there would be some way to seal the stitches from underneath. :nixweiss:

Thought of that.Got to modify my rain cover so I can snap it on without removing the back rest. Then the hard part is remembering to use it.

Harley leather dressing helps, but will still pick up a little water in a hard rain. Not a problem if your buts on the seat. The safe bet is no stitching but I think the looks are worth it.

You and me both. :2vrolijk_21: If I were doing another seat I'd have to add the stitching.... it really sets the seat off.

Happy T day

I have not had a problem with that in the area of my insert but I have experienced it on other seats. Stands to reason it will happen to some degree. Will be getting a C&C solo for the 02 soon.
