No doubt!

Looks like it'll be a cool project' can't wait to see the end... but I gotta ask, why spend the $$ to start with a CVO?

I agree... I don't get it at all...   :confused5: :confused5: :confused5:

Why take a semi-hard-to-find current model CVO off out of circulation and butcher it up to look like something out of OCC???  I guess I'll have to wait until it's finished to judge for sure in my opinion let the folks who want an SESG have that one and go salvage something from a junkyard to do this project...

Let's see... how many emoticons can I use on this one..?  :huh2:   :zwtf:  :smilie_daumenneg:    :zstupid:

There are so many other platforms to start from.  I just don't understand taking a CVO bike to "customize" beyond the point of recognition.  Not to mention, everyone and their brother has seen where this is headed.

Stretched tank, slammed front fender, extended bags/fender filler, solo seat, apes, and a custom paint job.

To each his own.  I can appreciate the project for what it is, and the time and money invested, but they could have saved 10G's off the back by starting with a standard FLHX.

I don't get it.  :nixweiss:  They bought an SESG and then totally stripped it down and replaced virtually everything but the frame and the 110 engine...that seems like a very expensive way to go when they could have bought a standard SG, bumped the engine up to 110 and added an hydraulic clutch and saved some money.  But I guess when you're doing what looks like a $30-40K do-over, money doesn't seem to be an issue.  RIP TS SESG.    :-\

Should find those on ebay soon......to help offset the cost of the new tins. :huepfenlol2:

I beleive he is a member of this forum:

Although I'm not sure I would go this route if I wanted a custom bagger from Yaffee (and Yaffee does some great work), man, it's his "ride" so Consti "rock on" and post the final pictures when done!!!

I believe you are right...

Absolutely right I plan to take delivery in Arizona when the bike is ready, stay there for a week enjoy the road trips, find anything I don't like, change it and then ship it to Greece. This style I love to have as in the pick.

I think you hit the nail on the head of whom the bike belongs to and you're right it is his ride so he's entitled to do with it what he wants..... Just not the way I would have approached a "Custom Bagger". :nixweiss:
