110 engine exhaust
« on: May 06, 2011, 09:57:05 PM »

What happened to the Harley exhaust sound. My 06 ultra 103" sounds like a Harley, but the 11 SE 110" is missing something. It does not have it. No deep throaty sound. I would say it is moe tinny and it rattles. Not likeing it at all.

It's been a hell of a lot longer than 2006 since a Harley sounded like a Harley with it's stock exhaust.

More mileage and she will sound better. With over 15,000 on my 09 SERG motor, she sounds much better than she did new. JMO - BryantH

Harley has been installing a free upgrade with their affiliate, EPA. It's several components: gas saving map, header catalyst, and stealth mufflers  :)

Aftermarket pipes, headers and tunes, will get your b@lls back - like Viagra for a Vespa.  :orange: you did know that buying the CVO was only the first installment to years of depleting your bank account?
