I'm thinking about taking the leap, from a 2007 SERK to a 2012 SESG....My RK is in great shape, but with just under 65K on the odo, has a nick or two.  With the SESG at MSRP, plus tax, tags, freight, dealer prep, I'm looking at 20K on the nose out the door.  So, I'm getting a total of just under 15K for mine.  In this market, does that sound about right?  I think it's a fair offer, since  CVO's hold their value, if you don't ride them a lot....  I'd appreciate your comments....

Back in March I traded my SERK3 in on an '11 SESG and the dealer gave me $17,500 for the trade, and honestly I don't think I could have sold it for that.  For some reason '07's (maybe because of the engine) did not hold their value at all.  I have seen several on ebay the last year or so and they either don't sell, or sell for what IMO is a very low price.

For the miles you have on it, $15k is probably a good deal, just not a great deal.  Again, JMO

Take that deal and run before they change their mind! Thats a crazy trade in # for your bike. My local dealer wouldn't even give me that on my 08 serk with 13K on it.  Its only $, you can make more   You will love the new bike

Congrats.  I have a friend that is looking for one of black ones as well.  They are very sharp scooters.  However, I believe the consensus on this site is that red bikes are the fastest.

I couldn't agree more re BLACK being the fastest colour.
A BLACK SE3 will be showing red and orange what it is like to be fast come mid November when my BLACK ride gets delivered.

I ordered a red one. I get the first one in the door or if my dealer can trade for it with another dealer I'll get it sooner.
I saw the citrus and thought it was pretty cool and then saw the black one and loved it better than the citrus. Last I saw pictures of the red one and fell in love with the color.
I still have my Black and Blue 04 SEEG with only 20K on the odometer. When I get my new bike I'll sell this one.

The new bike should be in later this week, but I won't be taking it home just yet.....sending the heads and cylinders out for diamond-cutting.....here we go again.....   Oh well, it's only money....
