GPS Turn Distance Inaccurate on new Boom GTS

My GPS is off a good 60-70yrds which is huge when using it in a urban area.  It is wanting me in some cases to go past an intersection I should have turn at, make a u-tun and come back to the intersection to make the turn.  The distance to turn slide scale that appears at the bottom of the screen indicates this as well.  It happens no matter where I am, in the city or out in the country.  Is there any way of synchronizing it?  I am using it a lot visiting down here in Florida.

My GTS does the same if I follow it I will go past every turn. There are as many bugs
 in the GTS as there were in the original infotainment system. I hope they get to work on fixing it.

Apple CarPlay and WAZE App.   You will thank yourself...  Doesn't have all of the ride planning features but to get from one destination to another it can't be beat.

Android phone so no Apple Car Play.  I take it without that I could not project the Waze on the bike screen?  They need to do a lot of updating to this new system such as Android Auto.

Read somewhere that Android did not want to play with HD so do not see it coming to the Boom anytime soon. Android was probably smart on that call. Lol

I think there are far more bugs in the GTS than the original GT back in 2014.

I have little faith in Harley getting it fixed.  Heck they are still correcting bugs in the GT, and its been out five years.

Well the latest update did nothing to fix it.  Thank god at least the guidance picture of the route is close or we would be chasing our tails all day down here.  Funny that the distance on the voice commands are out the same yardage but generally the turn now command is correct.  40 to up to 200 yrds out so far.  Pretty embarrassing when we have to use my buddies BMW with the Garmin in the dash and his bike was twenty grand cheaper.  Don't think I don't hear about that.

Here in Nanaimo.....the newest HD GPS with the latest update has my buddy leaving his house......and then instructing him to go left instead of right on his front street......then another left.....across a 15 year-old meridian.

The map is woefully out of date here as well, does not recognize roads that have been there for years - after the latest map update was applied.

Tourists as food for alligators is not in any of the brochures.  ;D   Harry gives good recommendations, your clothes may "shrink" some though.  ;)   Enjoy riding sunny Florida!  It's the cooler bug season, which is different than the warmer bug season, because it's cooler.

Lived on West Coast of FL for 15 years. Moved to Western NC last year. 1 word for riding in FL BORING. Would not move back if you paid me. Just sayin
