I just came back from a call where a 25 something year old girl did almost the exact same thing on her Honda CBR.

She didn't recover.
But she only ripped her designer jeans and sprained her right leg a bit. The bike looked like it had more damage then her.

Bloody awesome bit of riding.  There is no way anyone would be recovering like that on a Harley.  You would definately need the race slicks as well.
