Do you know this member?
« on: November 07, 2005, 03:21:10 PM »

We need your help identifing this unknow CVO member.  We assume he's a CVO member.  Who else would wear a hat like that?  He was found wandering around in North Georgia with that Michelob Ultra in his hand.  Obviiously it wasn't his first Ultra of the evening!  We don't know much more about him, except, that he and his lovely wife are GREAT host!  Do you know him?

Come on all you Soggy Valley participants.  This is not that hard!  I will start at the far left, man in white shirt.
The laughing and enjoying life member of this party led us through the mountains, chose a meeting site and date and brought us all together for one of those very special times in a person's life.
I claim this to be Brian, better known to all as 103tHunDer.

I think Mrs We is refering to the person in the white shirt.

By the way.  Wouldn't a CVO patch look great on the front of that hat? ;D

To be honest, ANYTHING that would cover up even part of that hat would look great. ;D

LOL!  Mrs. We, you're killin' me here! ;D ;D ;D

Yes, that's "Johnny" in the hat trying on some of his friend Bill's headwear, LOL!  Me and "04hd103" and his buddy Tom (a.k.a., Bimmer Slayer) spent an unbelievable weekend of being treated like kings in their homes and riding roads in Northern Georgia that only the locals know about.  I'm still scratching my head trying to figure out what we did to deserve the fantastic time we had. [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

I'm writing this from Jonathan Creek Inn where I spent the last two nights.  The fall colors here have been late this year and the place looks spectacular.  I will post photos from my trip when I get home tomorrow.

If you believe 103Thunder, he'll tell you that he's doing prep work for next years Gathering!  You know, checking out local roads, making sure the beer is cold enough at Salty Dogs, finding the best resturants, etc.  It's a tough job but sombody has to do it! ;) Right Brian?

Ok, so the rest of us are very jealous, but Tommy, Tom, Bill, Brian and Johnny.  Take lots of pictures and share with us.  Just looking at these spring pics made me want so much to get together with y'all.  It was trully a most fantastic time.

As Spyde just said, planned to a perfect "T" couldn't ask for any better.

 ;)

The Soggy Gathering was actually Gathering #2.  Gathering #1 was the little know predecessor to Gathering #2.   Also orginized by 103tHunDer.  [smiley=drink.gif]
