Remainder of factory warranty on a used bike?

Picking up mine in a day or two. It's a 2011 SERGU that was titiled previously and only has 1159 miles on it. The bike is at a metric dealer right now and they're supposed to get me all kinds of info on it. HOWEVER,,,, I really don't feel like trusting the salesman to do so.
Can anyone tell me what kind of factory warranty come with these bikes and if any of it is transferable to me as the second owner?

24 months from date original owner purchased the bike and it should be transferable to you.

Took it by the local dealer the other day. I have factory warranty until Aug 2013 :pepper:  Which is a good thing because the rear master cylinder is leaking already. :-[

How that's the way to ride. I picked mine up Dec 3rd and have 4700 miles on mine. Enjoy the ride and be safe.

I'd be right there with you only I can't find snow tires for this thing.  :2vrolijk_09:  I think I'll get the most out of the warranty. I've got a 90 mile round trip commute and my motto is "If it's over 40* and dry, I'm riding".....That and my truck only gets about 16 on the highway. lol
