So is it basically junk. As in just no point in trying to add bigger speakers. With the stock head unit and stock amps. I want more bass and volume with out it cutting out.

Yup. Don't add to it Stuart

Since this is your first post, I'll suggest to you that you might want to do some research. There are lots of riders who enjoy their system very much. Is this a question that you want help with or are you just ranting?
If you are an audio file, there are plenty of ways to make the system sound good.

No rant. Ya from what I'm reading ya the boom is ok. I just want more lol. So just getting info on stuff people like was what I was trying to get at that's all.

Look into Soundz and see what you think, kinda pricy but if it does what it says I’m interested, I heard a system from a guy that was leaving the local dealership he had his saddle bag opened and I saw the speaker and ask how he liked it, he turned it on and it sounded real clear with good bass, he said he researched it and that is what he decided on.

when I had my 13 SERG, I got mixed opinions on witch way to go and was even told by stereo venders they couldn't do any/much with the 1 ohm system on the 13, so I left it as is. fast foreword to my 16 SERG, I went with soundz after the reviews from members on the site and couldn't be more pleased with the results... pricey... yes... but no complaints all SOUNDZ branded amp, dsp and speakers. 20k miles so far and no issues

Did just go with 4 speakers or 6, I know you can even go to 8 if you want
