What header pipes did you order then?   :nixweiss:

Dresser Duals .... black as coal   :2vrolijk_21:
I was originally told January for both the pipes and the slip-ons .... slip-ons came in yesterday so there IS hope.

Only bad thing will be sending the head pipes back out to Jet-Hot once they arrive and have to wait on them ... AGAIN!!
Guess there is something to be said for winter .... if it was nice weather outside I would truely be going insane.

Pipes came in yesterday ... off to Jet-Hot on Monday to coat the pipes to match the heat-shields.
Hopefully I can get everything on the bike between Xmas and New Year's Day!

Wish me a speedy turn-around ....

How's the sound on those slip on's compared to stock?  Any difference once you added the headers?

It sounds like a motorcycle now - I LOVE THEM!!

With a cat in the stock headers, just doing the slip-ons won't be a drastic change from stock sound. V&H has a quiet baffle for the HO slip-ons for the more mellow of us. I love the BARK of the regular baffle in them. I posted pics of them in black in the SESG Exhaust thread ...

I understand that the HO slip-ons are a performance muffler not necessarily a torque muffler. Is that right, did you lose any low-end torque.

Dunno ... it will be another month or so before I can get it on the dyno for tuning and some numbers.

All of my V&H parts are in for this, hope to get the bike over to the shop and get them put on in the next few weeks.  I would think that you wouldn't lose torque on a performance muffler.  According to the V&H propoganda machine, you should see an increase in Torque and HP if you go with the entire system.  I didn't ask them about just doing the slip-ons.

Hey Mike..........send me an email when you get your pipes on. I'm thinking about V & H Hi-output slip ons for my Road Glide, but I would like to hear what they sound like on a 110, before i make purchase.  Thanks Jeff 8)

Will do; it may be a while since it's still winter here in Wisco.  Hoping to get out on the bike by April.
